These Terms are intended to set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between 정우병 (hereinafter the "Operator") and users in connection with the use of Couple Calendar (hereinafter the "Service"), a couple calendar service provided by the Operator.
The purpose of these Terms is to set out the conditions and procedures for using the Service provided by the Operator, the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Operator and users, and other necessary matters.
The Operator posts the contents of these Terms within the Service so that users can easily review them. The Operator may amend these Terms to the extent that doing so does not violate relevant laws such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea. When amending them, the Operator will specify the effective date and the reasons for the amendment and announce them at least 7 days before the effective date (30 days before for changes that are unfavorable to users or material). If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, the user may terminate the service agreement by withdrawing membership.
The service agreement is formed when a user agrees to these Terms, applies for membership through Sign in with Apple, and the Operator accepts the application. The Operator may refuse acceptance, or terminate the service agreement afterwards, where the user has misappropriated another person's information or provided false information, has a history of violating relevant laws or these Terms, or interferes with the normal operation of the Service.
The Operator provides the following services to members.
In principle, the Service is provided 24 hours a day, every day of the year, but it may be temporarily suspended where there is an unavoidable reason such as system maintenance, replacement, failure, or natural disaster.
The Operator may change the contents of the Service, or change or suspend all or part of the Service as needed for operational or technical reasons. Unless otherwise specifically provided by relevant laws, the Operator is not liable for damages incurred by users due to changes to or suspension of a Service provided free of charge.
Members must not engage in the following acts.
Members are responsible for keeping their login method (Apple account) secure and may not transfer or lend it to a third party.
The rights to and responsibility for Content created or registered by a member within the Service belong to the member who created that Content. Two members connected as a couple may mutually view and manage shared Content such as events and anniversaries in the shared calendar, and members agree that, when connected as a couple, their schedule and anniversary information will be shared with the connected partner. If the Operator determines that Content registered by a member violates laws or these Terms, the Operator may delete that Content or restrict access to it without prior notice. The processing of personal information is governed by the separate Privacy Policy.
Members may connect with another member as a couple by creating and sharing an invite code. Invite codes may expire after a certain period of time. Ending a couple connection and the resulting handling of shared Content are governed by the in-Service features and operating policies.
Members may withdraw membership (terminate the service agreement) at any time using the account deletion feature in the Service. Upon withdrawal, the member's personal information and Content are handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy, and related data connected to the member, such as couple, events, anniversaries, and notification settings, may be deleted together. If a member violates these Terms or relevant laws, the Operator may restrict use of the Service or terminate the service agreement after giving prior notice (or subsequent notice in urgent cases).
The Operator is exempt from liability where it cannot provide the Service due to natural disasters, force majeure, causes attributable to the user, or failures of third-party services (Apple, Supabase, etc.). The Operator is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of Content registered by members in the Service, or for disputes arising between members or between members and third parties. The Service is provided "as is," and the Operator makes no express or implied warranties in connection with the Service provided free of charge beyond the scope prescribed by relevant laws.
These Terms and the use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Lawsuits concerning disputes arising between the Operator and users in connection with the use of the Service shall be filed with the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
